Here is my reimagining of Fudō Myōō (Skrt. Achala = The Immovable), protector of the Dharma in Esoteric Buddhism.

I sculpted him not just as a wrathful deity, but as one who carries sorrow for those who resist being saved.
His grip is absolute. He will not let go.

His wrath protects, but if you look closely, you will find the sadness beneath the flame.
